Seller guide
How to clear dead stock
Inventory sleeping in the warehouse costs more than a missed sale — cash, space, and false 'healthy stock' signals.
Dead stock is accounting, not vibes
Days without sales, remaining inventory value, and carrying cost — without these, clearance is random discounting.
Tier before you slash prices
Saveable with price/ads, bundle-outs, and true write-downs are different. One mega-sale can wreck price architecture on healthy listings.
Owners required
'Everyone mind dead stock' means nobody does. Tasks need owners and must sit next to profit views.
How YingQiao helps
Daily AI pass on dead-stock risk with suggested moves; high-risk clearance tasks; separate from restock so you don't overbuy while overstocking.
How to start
-
1
Rank by capital stuck
Not by gut feel.
-
2
Tier actions
Save / clear / stop-loss — not one discount.
-
3
Close the loop
Owner, action, review date per SKU.

Which platforms does YingQiao's dead-stock handling cover?
On clearance specifically, here's what we do and what we don't.
| Capability | Shopee | Mercado Libre | TikTok Shop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Order / listing / settlement data sync | Supported | Supported | Supported |
| Multi-store data on one set of numbers | Supported | Supported | Supported |
| Sales counted into the slow-mover verdict | Supported | Supported | Supported |
| Ad spend and ROAS visible while clearing | Supported | Supported | Not connected |
| Competitor price tracking (to judge room to discount) | Supported | Supported | Not connected |
We do not do Amazon
Amazon isn't connected — not a single row of data. Dead stock sitting in an Amazon warehouse won't show up on this list.
TK sales count, TK ads don't
TK sales feed the slow-mover verdict. But if you want to check whether a keyword is still worth advertising while you clear the stock, that part isn't visible for TK.
You decide how deep to discount
The system gives you the list, the ranking by tied-up cash, and a direction. How far to cut, whether to bundle, whether to ship it home — those are business calls, and we don't press the button for you.
Seasonal items get flagged wrongly
The rule judges on days without movement, so off-season goods are easy to call out by mistake. That's why the list is always for a human to read; you mark the exceptions, the system doesn't rule by decree.
No third-party clearance channels
Liquidation wholesale, return shipping and disposal are offline moves we take no part in, and we have no channel contacts. The system picks out what needs handling and books the outcome back into the accounts.
No conversational data queries yet
Asking "which batch is tying up the most cash this month" in a chat box is something we haven't built. Today it's the stock-value ranking and the daily action list.
